December 2014 to March 2015 (activities weather permitting)   Winter Wonderland at Wheelers   

Free admission to 14 kilometers of X-country ski trails through Wheelers Sugar Bush. Relax by the fireplace after skiing or snowshoeing and enjoy a pancake meal. Snowshoe rentals available.  Call or visit for up-to-date trail conditions.

February 16, 2015   Family Day

In celebration of the Family. Enjoy a day at the sugar bush and enjoy a pancake feast.

February 17, 2015   Shrove Tuesday- PANCAKE DAY  

Where better to enjoy your feed of Pancakes than Wheelers Pancake House and Sugar Camp.

Anywhere from mid-February to mid-April, 2014   SUGAR SEASON

See how Maple Syrup is made at the sugar bush. Self guided tours, nature trails, heritage displays, pancake meals, and maple syrup available for sale. Call or visit for sap conditions.

March 14-22, 2015   March Break Maple Festival  

  • Experience maple syrup season in Lanark County "The Maple Syrup Capital of Ontario"

  • Pancakes, french toast, and sausage meals

  • Maple taffy-on-snow

  • Maple Museum

  • Hiking trails

April 3-6, 2015   Easter Weekend  

  • Open from 9AM to 3PM every day over the Easter Holiday (check for extended hours)

  • Children's Easter Egg hunt through the Sugar Bush all day Friday, Saturday, Sunday and Monday (FREE)

    - Numbered wooden eggs are placed in interesting locations along our 1KM Ridge Trail.

    - Children work individually, or as a family, to identify the location of each egg and record it on a Hunt Form.

    - When completed each child receives a maple sugar treat.

Daily from 9 to 3 all summer   Summer at Wheeler's Pancake House 2015

While vacationing in the Lanark County, Rideau Lakes, and Land O' Lakes Region stop by the Sugar Bush and take a relaxing walk on our nature trails and learn about maple syrup making as it relates to the environment around us.  Learn about the history of maple syrup at  Wheeler's Maple Heritage Museum!

September to October including Thanksgiving Monday.   Wheelers Maple Bush Fall Colours 2015 

Visitors can enjoy a walk on the nature trails through the 730 acre maple bush as the leaves change.  Hearty pancake meals are served inside the heritage log chalet.  Fully accessible boardwalk nature trail.
