Spring is a wonderful time of year. When the days warm up the sap starts to flow. The great tradition of maple sugaring' is great way to enjoy the beautiful outdoors  of Lanark County. There is always lots of activity at the sugar bush. From the time we string the lines and tap in February and early March to clean-up in May, we keep busy - often quite unreasonable hours - that's the life of a farm family though, and we love it!

Here is some information on what goes on:
Open daily 9 AM to 5 PM - Enjoy Hearty Pancake and Sausage Meals served to your table. Most people show up at about lunch time. It wouldn't hurt to come at off peak times, it would be nice to have a chance to talk to one of us! Mind you Vernon always has time to talk while he is boiling, just don't distract him. Whether or not the sap runs depends on the weather.
