National Historic Plaque |

On October 17, 2009 local MP Scott Reid and other officials along with the Wheeler Family unveiled a bronze plaque commemorating Maple Products as a Culturally Significant Heritage Event in Canada. Wheelers Maple Heritage Museum is home to one of three plaques in Canada recognizing this designation. The others are in Plessisville and Saint-Hilaire, Quebec.
