The Pancake House
Our Canadian Lodge Style dining room opened in 1996 but its history goes back much further.  The massive white cedar logs used to construct the building were reclaimed from century old barns and houses from a across Eastern Ontario.  Many of these old growth logs came from dilapidated old barns that were built over a century ago.  The other materials including the hulking roof trusses were cut from our own forest surrounding the sugarbush.

Nestled in the centre of our 730 acre forest, huge windows allow a true sense of being in the woods. Every season paints a different picture.  In the Spring when sap is flowing you can watch the maple sap as it flows through a clear tube within view of your table.  The centrepiece of the dining hall is the handcrafted stone fireplace built from stones collected right here on the Highland Line.

The busiest time of the year at the Pancake House is during the weekends of March and April when winter weary Canadians make the annual trek to the sugarbush for their first taste of Spring.  During these weekends we do not take reservations so it is best to visit either earlier or later in the day... or come during the week if you can!   And remember... the Pancake House is open all year round from 9AM to 5 PM.

Our Food

Our huge pancakes are made from scratch!

Every night the dry portion of the ingredients are mixed together. When we are ready for fresh batter, the wet ingredients   (including farm fresh local eggs) are added… After a couple of flips, the big, fluffy pancakes are headed to your table!

Homemade Maple Sausages

Our Famous 100% lean pork sausages are made right here.  We mix in seasonings and our own maple syrup to create this one-of-a-kind maple sausage.
