Frequently Asked Questions |

When are you open? We are open every day, all year long except Christmas Day (December 25th). We are open all other holidays (Boxing Day, New Years, Family Day, Easter, Canada Day, Thanksgiving, etc..). Our hours are 9AM to 5PM. The restaurant, sugar camp, museums, and trails... everything.... When can I see maple syrup being made? The season usually falls sometime between the end of February and the end of April and lasts about 4 to 6 weeks. For the sap to flow there has to be several successive days of above freezing temperatures with overnight temperatures below freezing. The best way to find out is by checking this page or following us on Facebook or Twitter. Can I make a reservation for eating at the Pancake House? It depends. We do not accept reservations on Weekends and Holidays during maple season, seating if first come, first served. On a weekday, and on other weekends of the year it doesn't hurt to give us a call if you have a large group coming with more than 8 people so we can have a table ready for you. When is the best time to come on a Weekend during Maple Season? Our busiest times of the year are the weekends and holidays (March Break and Easter) from early March-mid April so keep that in mind. The busiest hours are from about 9:30AM to 3PM. The best time to come is in the afternoon and enjoy the trails, sleigh ride, maple taffy, and displays then eat after 3PM . Another quieter time is right at opening. Quite often we will open a half hour early on our busiest days so check this site to see if it is an early open day. Sundays are busier than Saturdays.
